Hazardous Waste Management - Science Laboratory Relocations
MSES has demonstrated experience in conducting hazardous waste segregation, packaging, chemical relocation and science lab equipment decontamination and clean up at school districts in California that are involved in Modernization efforts. Our personnel, who are responsible for conducting all field activities, meet and exceed OSHA regulatory training requirements in chemical hygiene practices, procedures, techniques, and disposal technologies.
Our personnel place compatible chemical reagents into U.N. approved containers rated for packaging and transportation of chemicals. Reagents and bottled solutions are packed with absorbent material to prevent breakage during the relocation process and to ensure they are protected while being stored. Chemical resistant tubs and carts are utilized for moving the boxed chemicals from existing chemical storage rooms to temporary storage areas. Once in the new chemical storage room, chemicals are segregated in accordance to the Flinn’s Compatibility family class and placed on the new shelves following Flinn suggested storage pattern.
